Friday night my roommate, Katie, and I put together a little fondue party with our friend Amy. We made chocolate and butterscotch fondue from scratch. I was afraid we'd burn them, but they turned perfectly. (I was impressed at our cooking skills, but they were easy recipes.) Amy brought the dippers- bananas, strawberries, green apples, pretzels, graham crackers, and vanilla wafers. It was de.li.cous! We all thought the butterscotch was better than the plain chocolate. The best together was the pretzels and butterscotch because it was a sweet/salty taste. Second best was the apples and butterscotch. It was fun to dip, taste, and chat around the table. Afterwards we played skip-bo and talked. It was an enjoyable night.
