A First

On Sunday I asked Beth if she knew how to french braid… she did! So I asked her if she could teach me before I left for Idaho. I first did a little mini one and I did great. Those were her words. Not mine. Then I tried this! It does look good if I do say so myself. For the first long braid it doesn't look too shabby. Plus she has curly hair. I don’t know if that made it easier or harder. I’ll be practicing more while I’m gone.

When I showed this picture to my mom she noticed that Beth's shirt says volunteer. I got a kick out of that. Goes perfectly with the occasion.
