My transplant coordinator just called and told me the surgeon says I'm not a candidate for a heart/lung transplant. She said the main reason is because of my scoliosis. This does not make sense to me. I already have one and a third lungs and heart in there. How could there not be enough space?? Can someone answer that question for me? They're sending out a letter to my doctors and I next week stating the reasons they found to not give me the transplant. I'm anxious to read what they say.

The sad part is that it is most likely more of a liability issue. I'm sure they could still do it, but found it to be too risky.
